Spinning head

Spinning heads are an important part which is widely applied for boilers, chemical vessels, oil tanks, nuclear reactors, missiles and satellites. Its specifications are developing in the direction of large-scale, and the application fields are expanding. Using spinning to process large and medium-sized heads has unparalleled advantages in other processing methods. The head spinning is usually formed by sheet metal. The wall thickness before and after forming does not change or change very little, the diameter changes greatly, or shrinks or expands, and it is easy to be unstable or partially thinned during spinning. There are two ways of one-way forward spinning and reciprocating swing multi-pass progressive spinning. Product elements are head profile, known position diameter, height, wall thickness, etc.

The main technological elements are the trajectory of the rotary wheel, the spinning pass, the spinning pass spacing, the spinning speed, whether it is hot or not. The involute rotary trajectory is most favorable for spin forming, and the determination of the spinning pitch is extremely important, which directly affects the success or failure of the spinning process.

At present, in the cold-spinning forming of the head and the head, two methods are mainly used: one-step method, that is, the slab is spun on the spinning machine; the two-step method, that is, the slab is displayed along the slab on the drum machine. The face is pressed into a spherical crown point by point and then turned over on the spinning machine. The one-step spinning head has a much higher working efficiency than the two-step forming head process, and the product quality is good. At this stage, the one-step spinning head has been in a dominant position and has matured.
